An average of 240,000 viewers tuned into RTÉ to watch Derry defeat Armagh in the Ulster Senior Football Final on Sunday.Securing the trophy for the second year in the row, the final score was Armagh 0-18 Derry 1-15 AET .
The game, which aired on The Sunday Game on RTÉ2, took a share of 31% of viewers watching TV at the time.A spokesperson for RTÉ said: "The Ulster Final on The Sunday Game Live on RTÉ2 yesterday drew an average audience of 243,000 viewers, with a share of 31% of those watching TV at the time.Belfast Live contacted the BBC for its viewing figures."The Ulster Final is one of our most watched sporting events of the year.
