Some 3,500 troops will be ready to act within a matter of hours if Government departments need extra tanker drivers, engineers or even military sniffer dogs to help at the airport. Police chiefs are also scheduled to meet to discuss sweeping new powers so Britain is ready for a ‘crash out’ on Friday. The first ‘No Deal’ TV ads – directing Brits to the Government’s official No Deal advice website – aired yesterday.
