The provincial government of Bulacan distributed food packs to over 4,600 families in Barangays Catmon, Barihan, and Santisima Trinidad in the City of Malolos on Monday, March 14.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando, together with Rowena Joson-Tiongson, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office chief, led the distribution of the food packs. They were assisted by Board member Alex Castro and businessman Arvin Velez.
Fernando urged the Bulakenyos to continue the good discipline they had shown in the past few weeks that gave way to Alert Level 1 quarantine status in the province. “Kung magpapatuloy ang pag-iingat at disiplina ng bawat mamamayan, malamang na makamtan natin ang Alert Level zero sa susunod na buwan, na ang ibig sabihin ay nakabalik na tayo sa normal nating pamumuhay,” ,” Fernando said, adding that it is high time to do good for everyone.
