Northumbria PoliceA second teenage boy has died after getting into difficulty in the River Tyne on Saturday, police have confirmed.
The other victim, whose body was found after an extensive search of the river, has been identified as David Radut, 14, also from Newcastle.The two boys were spotted in the river, close to Ovingham Bridge, at about 15:30 BST on Saturday.David was found in the water but pronounced dead at the scene.David's mother, Aurora Radut, has started a fundraising effort to help with the funeral costs.
