Learn what came out of the one year review of the city of Ozark's Strategic Plan developed last year.
OZARK -- In a recent Strategic Plan Review, Ozark officials and civic leaders gathered to hear progress reports on priority issues and goals for the city that had been established last year after multiple collaborative brain-storming meetings between city leadership and citizens.
“Community leaders and citizens work together to make Ozark the best small city in Alabama with a welcoming, safe, and family-oriented environment; a strong diverse economy with quality jobs and workforce; an outstanding public education system; quality, accessible healthcare, and diverse housing options in safe, attractive neighborhoods are among the priorities cited in the vision statement for the strategic plan.
Johnson said DMC has opened a wound clinic, added EEG neurological testing, added a registered dietician to the staff and has partnered with Wallace Community College to open LPN and MHT programs to assist in meeting workforce challenges.
