A YOUNG MAN with P720,800 worth of suspected shabu was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 2, Bacolod City on Wednesday, May 24. Police Capt. Joven Mogato, head of City Drug Enforcement Unit , said they placed the suspect, Jeo Tongoy, 21, of Barangay 2, under a three-week monitoring after receiving information about his alleged involvement in the illegal drugs trade.
Mogato said the suspect is a newly identified individual but a high value individual at the same time, considering the huge volume of illegal drugs confiscated from him.Mogato said that young individuals are being used by drug peddlers as they can easily be influenced by money.
