The devastating Palisades Fire has ravaged the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, destroying homes of celebrities, tech moguls, and other wealthy residents.

One of Los Angeles' most affluent neighborhoods, Pacific Palisades, has long been a haven for a diverse population, encompassing A-list celebrities, tech moguls, top lawyers, and influential figures in finance. However, the aftermath of the devastating Palisades Fire, which has scorched a staggering 23,707 acres – an area exceeding the size of Manhattan – has left many of the neighborhood's 80,000 residents facing the unimaginable prospect of returning to no home.

For several well-known individuals, including Anna Faris, Leighton Meester, Ricki Lake, and Heidi Montag, this nightmare has tragically become a reality. The destruction extends beyond the mansions of celebrities. Austin Russell, a 29-year-old tech entrepreneur, has lost his $125 million mansion, which previously featured in the popular television series Succession. Numerous other multi-million dollar homes belonging to hedge fund managers, tech executives, architects, and others, have also been reduced to ash. The inferno has claimed the lives of at least eight people, destroyed 604 buildings, and remains only 14 percent contained. With much of the once-picturesque, leafy area now transformed into rubble, DailyMail.com has compiled a list of some of the significant losses. JERRY CUDZIL'S HEDGE FUND BOLTHOLE: One of the more extravagant properties consumed by the Palisades Fire was located at 641 Alma Real Drive. This classic Los Angeles residence, a pink-tinged Spanish-style home nestled in one of Pacific Palisades' most desirable neighborhoods, belonged to hedge fund boss Jerry Cudzil, 49. The five-bedroom house, estimated to be worth $10.3 million, is now a mangled collection of charred masonry. Prior to the devastating wildfires, the property showcased lush gardens, complete with a swimming pool and a deck offering glimpses of the ocean. Inside, the home featured a chef's kitchen and a master suite with a private sitting room and deck. THE BRIDGES HOUSE: One of the most iconic homes in Pacific Palisades, 820 Chautauqua Boulevard, was affectionately known as the 'Bridges House' in honor of its architect, the late University of Southern California professor emeritus Robert Bridges. Although officially located on Chautauqua Boulevard, the house was more prominently visible from Sunset Boulevard, where it soared 100 feet above the road, supported by three massive poured concrete pillars. Robert Bridges, along with his wife Janelle and their three children, moved into the house in 1991 after six years of meticulous construction. In a 2014 interview with the New York Times, Bridges described the building process as 'incredibly risky,' recalling moments of 'daring and stupidity' while working on the unconventional structure. However, he also emphasized that despite its precarious appearance, the house was 'totally rational' from an engineering standpoint. LYFT BOSS'S LAIR: A spectacular seven-bedroom mansion at 634 Alma Real Drive now lies in ruins. Once a paragon of California living, the property was home to Elaine Paul, Lyft's Chief Financial Officer, her husband, Darren Seidel, a production company boss, and their three children. The devastated house, surrounded by a white picket fence and manicured lawns, boasted seven bedrooms and a remarkable ten bathrooms. Purchased for $1.9 million in 2009, the house's value had since skyrocketed to an estimated $9.1 million.
