"It'll be up to Russ Ball to see if he can get this deal done," Schefter told WKTI-FM in Milwaukee Wednesday morning, alluding to a potential Love extension. "I don't think that they're anywhere close to getting it done right now. Those are conversations that will occur here in the days and weeks to come."Love is set to play on a one-year extension to his rookie deal in 2024, and can theoretically hit free agency after this season.
