Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao defeated South Korean martial artist DK Yoo via unanimous decision in an exhibition boxing match on Sunday at the Korea International Exhibition Center in Goyang, South Korea.Banking on his wealthy boxing experience, Pacquiao dominated Yoo as he knocked the latter down twice en route to an easy win.Manny Pacquiao AFP FILE PHOTOPacquiao, who will turn 44 years old on December 17, decked the 42-year-old Yoo in the fourth round and in the sixth.
Pacquiao fought once more to use the earnings from his bout against Yoo to build homes for the less fortunate in the Philippines.A portion of the fight's profit will also be used to rehabilitate the devastated areas in Ukraine and help the people affected in the Ukraine-Russia war as well.This is Pacquiao's first exhibition bout after retiring from professional boxing in August 2021 following his unanimous decision loss to Yordenis Ugas in August 2021.
