BBC Radio 2 presenter Paddy McGuinness completed his 300 miles trek on a Chopper bike
Paddy McGuinness was left beaming at the finish line of his huge Children in Need cycle challenge on Friday , which saw him trek 300 miles across the UK on a chopper bike.
The former Top Gear and host and funny man, 51, raised funds for Children in Need as he embarked on the mission from Wrexham to Glasgow.He said: "Honestly I can’t believe it. I came out of East Kilbride, I was looking at Glasgow and it was lit up in sunshine. Then coming in here and the streets were lined. I had Sir Tom Hunter beside me and I came around the corner there... What a sight, what a feeling! Thank you so much everybody.
"Even though we're filming stuff and putting things on social media; until you're actually in that moment, I will never be able to get it across fully what it felt like. All the different sounds, all the cities, all the communities. Everyone came out and everyone were together for something. He started the challenge on Monday during the BBC Radio 2 breakfast show and revealed he wanted to do the challenge after meeting inspirational people who benefited from Children in Need donations.
