Paddy McGuinness has opened up about the positive changes in his life since separating from his wife Christine. He revealed how Mondays are now his day to reclaim his personal time.
Paddy McGuinness has provided a rare glimpse into his personal life nearly three years after separating from his wife Christine, the mother of his three children. The father-of-three has shared how he has changed one habit in recent years while discussing his home life raising his children: 'Before the kids, I used to dread Mondays because it was back to work,' he told the Guardian.
Take Me Out presenter Paddy revealed how he has 'got his life back' after one thing changed at home: 'Now Mondays are the day where you get your life back – at least between 9am and 3pm, when they’re at school. Monday for me is: ‘Let’s do what I’ve not been able to do over the weekend.’ Announcing their split in 2022, a joint statement from the pair said: 'A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus was as always is to continue loving and supporting our children. 'This was not an easy decision to make but we're moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children. We'll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together.' Despite their separation nearly three years ago, Paddy and the Real Housewives of Cheshire star are reportedly still living together for the sake of their three children, who are all on the autism spectrum. Rising to fame in the early 2000s thanks to the help of much-loved comedian Peter Kay, he starred alongside the comedian in his That Peter Kay Thing and Phoenix Nights in the same year. With many more TV appearances to follow, Paddy's career continued to go from strength to strength. Tying the knot with model and TV personality Christine in June 2011, the couple would go on to have their three children Leo, Penelope and Felicity together before announcing that they would split in 2022
