New Glenavon boss Paddy McLaughlin warns his side they have to stop conceding soft goals
Despite the frustration of conceding soft goals Paddy McLaughlin feels the early signs at Glenavon are encouraging.
The former Cliftonville boss has told his side they cannot afford to keep giving teams a head start, but he feels there is enough quality in the squad to start picking up some "precious" points. "We've good players here and really good defenders and a brilliant 'keeper in Gareth Deane, so it's not okay to be conceding soft goals. But the signs are really encouraging and now it's all about getting points on board. Every point you get in this league is precious.
