Paddy Pimblett has revealed he has held talks with Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan about hosting a UFC fight night at Anfield . The 29-year-old is undefeated in the UFC and faces American Bobby Green in Manchester this weekend. Pimblett features on a star-studded UFC 304 card at the Co-op Arena on Saturday night, headlined by British champions Tom Aspinall and Leon Edwards. The Huyton-born fighter is on a five-fight win streak since joining the promotion in September 2021.
Asked by the ECHO on Wednesday if any discussions had been had about making it happen, Pimblett said: 'I've spoken to people at Anfield about it. I've spoken to the CEO of Liverpool and they are all willing and happy to get it on. They want to do it. 'They've said it to me plenty of times. I sit in the Legends Lounge when I go to the games and I've been to the boardroom where the CEO sits and they want to do it.
