After meeting with MLB and National Weather Service, Padres say Saturday's game expected to be played as scheduled
The weather, the Padres say, may cooperate after all. At least that was the message that the Padres’ social media accounts sent out this morning as rain pummeled the region: If the game gets in, two Padres will make their debuts: Right-hander Dylan Cease and back-up catcher Kyle Higashioka. The latter is seeing his first action of the season after watching Luis Campusano catch every inning thus far.
