Bogaerts was referring to the Rockies having already clinched the season series with Friday’s win, their seventh in 11 games this season. The season series concludes Sunday and that’s fine with Bogaerts considering the Padres’ earlier five-game losing streak against the Rockies, owner of the worst winning percentage in the NL.Bogaerts’ home run on Friday pushed his OPS in 14 games at Coors Field to 1.117, tops among all regular MLB stadiums he’s visited.
All told, Bogaerts is a .364/.426/.691 hitter with four homers and six RBIs in 14 games at Coors Field.
