The low pressure area embedded along the intertropical convergence zone near Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte has dissipated, state weather bureau PAGASA said on Thursday. PAGASA , however, said Palawan may still experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the next 24 hours.Aside from the now dissipated LPA, PAGASA said in a public weather forecast earlier that the country will also be affected by the ITCZ and the easterlies.
The ITCZ will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in Metro Manila, the rest of CALABARZON, and the rest of Mindanao.The easterlies, meanwhile, are expected to affect the rest of the country.Aurora and Quirino may experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.The rest of the country is expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
