MANILA, Philippines — No tropical cyclone has been monitored in the next 24 hours but the state-run weather agency is looking at cloud clusters which may develop into a low pressure area (LPA) in the coming days.
MANILA, Philippines — No tropical cyclone has been monitored in the next 24 hours but the state-run weather agency is looking at cloud clusters which may develop into a low pressure area in the coming days.Weather specialist Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that an enhanced southwest monsoon locally known as 'habagat' would prevail in many areas in Luzon and the Visayas.
According to the state weather bureau, a yellow advisory means monitoring weather and possible flooding, orange means residents should be alert for possible evacuation and expected flooding and red means severe flooding is expected and residents should evacuate.
