Three people have been killed and dozens seriously injured after pagers used by Lebanese militant group Hezbollah exploded. In a statement, Hezbollah said that three people had died in the explosions, including two fighters and one girl. It did not directly accuse Israel of being behind the operation which has left dozens of Hezbollah members seriously injured and said that it was carrying out an investigation to determine the causes of the blasts.
It is deemed a terrorist organisation by many, including some Western governments, and has played a significant role in the conflict between Israel and Hamas, exchanging fire with Israel since last October in parallel with the war.
