Hunterhill care home received a positive report from the Care Inspectorate.

Two inspectors from the Care Inspectorate carried out an unannounced visit to Hunterhill care home last month.

The facility, operated by Renfrewshire Council, was awarded a ‘good’ for how well it supports people’s wellbeing. The watchdog also observed that Hunterhill care home had a really “interesting and exciting range of events and activities” for people to get involved with.

It was also observed that relatives were welcome to come and go throughout the day, and people shared how they were made to feel welcome and able to make their loved one a cup of tea. Inspectors praised Hunterhill’s atmosphere for being “calm and relaxed”.
