Demonstrators took to the streets of Manchester today to protest in support of Palestinians amid hostilities in Gaza and Israel, among them were people fearing for the lives of their families back in Palestine.
Today Israel has retaliated and began striking targets in Gaza. At least 300 people have been killed and 1,700 wounded in Gaza in Israeli retaliation, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. She said: “At the moment I can’t contact my family in Gaza because there is no internet or electricity. The 33-year-old, who moved to Manchester in 2017, said: “I’m waiting every second for someone to tell me my family has died. They are scared.”She said: “Palestinians are strong people that’s why I’m here now. I'm not crying about my family, I'm trying to do something for them by telling everyone about the situation in Palestine and Gaza.”
