Alan Flett emailed: “The reasons why Rangers are not willing to sign Miovski and/or Shankland are simple! Aberdeen are not going to sell their best player to their biggest rivals unless there is silly money on the table. Rangers could probably get Shankland if they wanted him but he's no better than what they’ve already got. He may score goals in the SPFL but he’s not good enough for Europe and has no value.
Peter Lyons, Blantyre, said: “I'm a concerned Celtic supporter. The champions have lost ground after one game. We cannot afford to lose any more ground in the Close Season Cup, or Rangers – aka the Homeless Unit – could retain it.”
