More than seven months after Hamas launched the deadliest terror attack in Israel’s history, the world is still reeling from the carnage as well as Israel’s response to the massacre and kidnappings. It all stems from Hamas’ surprise attack on the Nova Music Festival on Oct. 7, 2023, which left more than 400 people dead and dozens taken hostage -- a catastrophe that’s the focus of a new Paramount+ documentary launching this fall.
“The human cost of what happened on October 7th in Israel, and the war in Gaza, has been catastrophic,” See It Now Studios president Susan Zirinsky said about the new documentary. “We can’t tell everyone’s story. This film is about innocent young people, forced to fight for their survival. It is a painful story of unfathomable tragedy, and also of bravery, sacrifice, and heroism.” The film blends eyewitness accounts from the attack with footage captured by both the victims as well as Hamas.
