MP urges government to help
An MP has warned that families are struggling with rising living costs and is calling on the government to help parents.
‘A mother has said to me she is thinking about home educating her child because of the cost of driving to school.Halfon and other MPs have urged Chancellor Rishi Sunak to cut fuel duty to help struggling families. A price cap on energy prices will increase from 1 April, which think tank the Resolution Foundation has predicted that the amount of families who will find energy unaffordable will treble.
