James Blundell embarked upon a depraved campaign after grooming his victims with cash and sweets
A paedophile who took boys to McDonald's and Cheshire Oaks before sexually abusing them has been jailed.
He would go on to describe the vile sexual abuse he had been subjected to by Blundell - who had attempted to rape him, performed sex acts on him and performed a sex act in his presence, as well as sending him a picture of his penis. The boy recalled one incident where he was forced to perform a sex act on the pervert after he had pulled over following a drive along the East Lancs Road.
"He was so brave telling us what he has been through with this man, who abused all of our trust. His innocence has been stripped away from him."No parents should be having to rebuild a child's life. This man has shattered our trust. His mum said in her statement: "As a family, this has changed our lives. We have had to have conversations that no parent ever ought to have with their child.
"One person's calculated actions took away our son's innocence and forced him into a situation no child should have to live. We have had to watch our son suffer in ways no children should."
