Kerry-Anne Shepherd, 35, of Plantagenet Street, St Ann's, and Gemma Fearon, 37, of Dean Bank Close, Bollington, Macclesfield both helped the murderers of Michael Anton O'Connor
The parents of a Nottingham man murdered by a drugs gang have said their pain will never end - as the last people involved in the killing were jailed. Kerry-Anne Shepherd, 35, of Plantagenet Street, St Ann's, and Gemma Fearon, 37, of Dean Bank Close, Bollington, Macclesfield, both helped the murderers of Michael Anton O'Connor after a group of hitmen stabbed the businessman to death in The Meadows on November 10, 2021.
His father Michael O'Connor, 60, added: "The judge came to the right conclusion by giving them prison time and he has been meticulous and considered throughout, which we are thankful for. Fearon drove the hired muscle involved in the murder from Manchester to Nottingham, which Mr Langdale KC said meant she was a "vital and necessary part of this plan" and labelled her a "close and trusted associate. "Although she may not have been told the full extent of the plan she knew it would at least end in bodily harm," he added.
She also allowed her partner to use her phone after the murder. Shepherd also had previous convictions, relating to assault and criminal damage.
