“We were never going to give up finding her. We were always going to find her or we were going to die looking for her,” says Rosa Calhoun. The Sheriff’s spokesperson said several searches were made over multiple days in Harris and Montgomery County without success. Witnesses in Hockley and Tomball reported seeing her in the early morning hours of March 10, asking to sleep in driveways. Her phone died by the time she was found sleeping in her car by a homeowner in Tomball’s Holly Creek Estates around 6 a.m. The homeowner called neighbors and the homeowner’s association, who tried to wake her.
