The parents of a Filipino death row convict in Indonesia Mary Jane Veloso have appealed to President Marcos Jr. to release their daughter if Indonesia decides to turn her over to Philippine custody.

Idiretso na sya dito sa min,He said the nongovernment organization Migrante International informed them recently about the possibility of their daughter being transferred to a Philippine jail.
She was scheduled to be executed together with other drug convicts in 2015. A last-minute reprieve was called after Veloso’s recruiter surrendered to authorities in Nueva Ecija.
