Parents are being urged to check their children's car seats as a popular model has been recalled over safety concerns.
The Office for Product Safety and Standards issued a statement: "Product: Solar Group 1 2 3 Isofix Car Seat. Hazard: There is a small internal component issue in certain batches of car seat, which may result in the harness not locking properly when pulled. Corrective action: Recall of the product from end users.
A spokesperson for Which? advised: "If you have the affected product, stop using it immediately and contact the retailer to arrange a refund or replacement." Car seats are essential for keeping your children safe while on the road, and a car expert has recently highlighted the dangers of cleaning them incorrectly. Tom Riley, CEO of Kids Car Store, stressed the significance of proper cleaning methods, which he believes are vital to preserving the seat's integrity and, more importantly, its safety.
