Charley Hull is tied in 52nd spot after an improved performance on the second day, shooting a round of one under. There is no cut in the event so both will continue into the weekend, when Switzerland's Metraux will look to remain in command. China's Yin Ruoning is just one stroke behind after a bogey-free 65, while overnight leader and home favourite Celine Boutier fell back to joint sixth with a four-over 76.
