Shooting on a feature-length documentary around Partick Thistle has begun after attracting interest from America
. Academy Award winner Charles B Wessler, whose past releases include Dumb and Dumber as well as There’s Something About Mary, is at the heart of the project.
Now the Maryhill outfit are next as the latest instalment delves into “football fandom and what it means to be passionate about a club that doesn’t always deliver results”, according to a release announcing the move. He said: “This story is the perfect antidote to the current climate of lavish spending and celebrity investors in football. This is a team that understands nobody is coming to rescue them from above and a fanbase which knows better than to take victory for granted.”
