Police issue fines over No 10 gathering on eve of Prince Philip's funeral
At various stages during the pandemic, the government imposed legally enforceable rules - including restrictions on social gatherings - to stop Covid from spreading.
The Met Police investigation, called Operation Hillman, is examining 12 gatherings on eight dates to see if Covid regulations were broken.20 May 2020 in the Downing Street garden13 November 2020 on the departure of a special adviser.
