Passengers cheer as drunk holidaymaker booted off flight before plane takes off

Paul Carling was slurring his words and shouting abuse at cops as they huckled him off the plane.

Passengers cheered when one of their fellow travellers was huckled off a flight by cops before the plane had even taken off. Paul Carling hoped to fly to Türkiye from Newcastle International Airport on Wednesday, September 6.

Jane Scott, prosecuting, said: She said: "Police had been contacted by airport staff who requested the removal of the defendant from the aircraft. On arrival all the passengers were seated. Carling has four previous convictions for five offences and appeared in court without representation.
