Joe Rodon has been declared fit for Leeds United's penultimate fixture of the regular Championship season at Queens Park Rangers. The no-nonsense centre-back, on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season, suffered a calf knock in Monday's crucial win at Middlesbrough.
United enter tomorrow's clash on the back of a pulsating seven-goal thriller with Middlesbrough. Victory lifted the Whites back into the automatic promotion places. The three points came at a cost with Daniel James ruled out of the QPR clash after suffering a costal cartilage injury and torn oblique abdominal muscle. It remains up in the air whether the Wales international will be fit to face Southampton on the final weekend of the season.
"Normally with this type of injury you’re ruled out for two to three weeks," said Farke, who will be without Burnley loanee Connor Roberts. "We still have a bit of hope. Our physios, doctors are working in the rehab to make him available. We try everything to make him available. At the moment it’s realistic to say he will miss the game, but it would be a nice surprise if he makes it next week.
