'It will never be done again' - Patrick Mahomes can't even dream of pulling off two three-peats like Michael Jordan
"One-hundred percent. I think at any level, to have that much level of success is crazy," Mahomes exclusively told talkSPORT on Thursday at a hotel in New Orleans.
"So for him to be able to win a 3-peat, take time off, come back to basketball again and do it again, that's something that will probably never be done again in any sport."But with each passing year, Jordan's achievements with the Bulls become even more remarkable. With Phil Jackson on the sideline and Scottie Pippen as a superb No. 2, MJ won it all in 1991, '92 and '93 to form a Bulls dynasty.Mayweather spent $1million on Super Bowl ticket and extravagant weekend didn’t stop there"I have reached the pinnacle of my career," Jordan said in 1993. "I just feel I don't have anything else to prove."Then Jordan was back and the Bulls dominated the NBA again, winning the Finals in 1996, '97 and '98 for a second three-peat.
"I'm going to try to continue to win this game this weekend and continue to have success," Mahomes said. How to follow Super Bowl 2025"But maybe one day I'll be able to get out there and at least get some spring training or something like that."Mahomes was so good at baseball that he hit 95 mph on a radar gun while pitching on the mound, and also went 3-for-4 with a home run, double and three RBIs at the plate.
Jordan hit .202 with three home runs, 51 RBI, 46 runs, a .556 OPS and 30 stolen bases in 1994 while playing for the Class AA Birmingham Barons.I trained for hours alone with Ronaldo at Man United and saw things nobody else didDoing it all over again for a second time feels like something that can only happen in another sports universe. How To Watch the Full U.S. Coverage of Super Bowl LIX Live for 99p- the only place to watch the full U.S. broadcast.
