Paul Chuckle says brother Barry's death was like a 'hot knife in the stomach'
PAUL Chuckle has spoken of his hurt over brother Barry's death, claiming his hatred of hospitals "led to his downfall".
The iconic comedy duo were inseparable for 70 years before Barry's death from bone cancer last August, aged 73.Chuckle has spoken of his hurt over brother Barry's death saying it feels like a 'hot knife in the stomach': “Losing someone close to you hurts, like someone sticking a hot knife in your stomach.Calling Barry a "great mate and a great brother", he told how they spent 45 weeks a year together.

He went on: “All his life, one of his problems was that he hated going to see the doctor. He hated hospitals. He couldn’t stand the smell of them.“A lot of men are like that. I’m not... because my missus tells me to go and get that sorted, go and see what that is. But that’s right.
