While 23,500 excited fans packed into Co-op Live on both Saturday and Sunday night, some were treated to an early glimpse of the star as he left his hotel in the city centre
This weekend saw Beatles' legend Sir Paul McCartney back on home turf in the North West as he took to the stage at Manchester's Co-op Live.

Then, pausing before getting into his car, he watched on as those lined up outside serenaded him with the Beatles' classic, Hey Jude.
Later, during the show’s encore, McCartney performed a ‘duet’ with Lennon for I Got A Feeling - the arena’s big screens displaying footage of the Beatles’ infamous 1969 rooftop gig at Apple Corps headquarters.
