Paul Mullin scored his first goals since suffering a punctured lung in Wrexham's 3-1 pre-season win over Man United
Wrexham goal machine Paul Mullin scored a stunning overhead kick as he netted for the first time since puncturing his lung against Manchester United.
Tests showed that Mullin had punctured his lung and, speaking to The Athletic in August, he admitted to fearing for his life. He said: "I was trying to breathe in but nothing was happening. A thrilling 3-3 draw saw the hosts fall behind on three occasions, with former Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher netting in the 95th minute - his first goal for the club. After the game, manager Phil Parkinson hailed Wrexham’s spirit, paying special tribute to Mullin, whose grandfather also passed away just days earlier.
