It has been an emotional day
took place in Kent with the star laid to rest at St Rumwold's Church in Aldington. Teachers and pupils from the local school lined the streets with artwork made to honour the star.Villagers organised a bake sale outside the Walnut Tree pub with proceeds going to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home as mourners from all across the country flocked to the village to pay their respects.
Paul's husband Andre Portasio hosted a private ceremony after the procession. It included a canine guard of honour.
