Paul was joined by Alicia Silverstone, Breckin Meyer and Donald Faison for the Clueless reunion, which took place over the weekend.. Alicia, who played main character Cher in the teen comedy, revealed she had suggested the late star for the role of Tai, explaining: ‘I had to tell Amy [Heckerling, director] just in case she didn’t know that Brittany Murphy was the one that had to play the part, she was so good.‘I love when she says, “You’re a virgin who can’t drive”. It’s just one of my favourite moments of the whole movie. It’s just, her face scrunches up so good.
While Paul – who starred as Cher’s love interest / sort-of brother, added: ‘She was a sweet person too. She was… she was just always so smiley and sweet.’ Brittany portrayed misfit Tai Frasier, who transferred over to Bronson Alcott High School and became pals with Cher and her best friend, Dionne .
