Summary Paul Rudd once again featured in The Bear, and his season 3 cameo continues one of the show's most bizarre mysteries. After two impressive seasons, The Bear returned for its third installment and continued to prove why it's one of the most talked-about shows on TV. While the latest batch of episodes proved a little more divisive than usual, there were still some standout performances, and The Bear season 3's cameos continued to prove how strong its guest stars are.
His subtle involvement in season 3 is very easy to miss, but during the ninth episode, titled "Apologies", a cardboard cutout of Paul Rudd wearing a Beef shirt can be seen while Sydney is preparing herself to tell Carmy about her job offer. It is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it type of cameo, but this falls in line with the actor's previous appearances.
Outside the show, Rudd's connection is even looser, as he has no real association with the cast. While it is possible Rudd is friends with someone who works on The Bear, he has no major collaborations, making his constant appearances even stranger. His hidden cameos are clearly an ongoing gag, and Rudd is a big enough name for it to have a big payoff, but as of now, his role remains a mystery.
