Andre Onana, Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho are the main players Manchester United hero Paul Scholes would keep at Old Trafford moving forward.

The Reds are enduing a difficult season with United 13th in the top-flight standings, which is their lowest position after 22 games in Premier League history. Ruben Amorim arrived at Old Trafford in November but has, so far, been unable to significantly improve results since his predecessor, Erik ten Hag, was sacked in October.

In a video posted via TNT Sport's social media channels, former United star Scholes shared his belief that the Reds should only look to keep goalkeeper Andre Onana, midfielder Kobbie Mainoo and forward Alejandro Garnacho. On Onana, he said, "I think I'd keep him. There's more to come from him, but I'd keep him."

Both Mainoo and Garnacho have been linked with moves away from United. Chelsea are keen on the pair - with United understood to be open to selling Academy graduates to help boost their PSR situation - while Italian club Napoli are also interested in the Argentine.
