Paul Tierney has been appointed as the referee in Liverpool's next Premier League match against Brentford, at Anfield on Sunday
Jurgen Klopp will be reunited with Paul Tierney on Sunday as the referee has been assigned to Liverpool's home Premier League fixture against Brentford.
Tierney was named as the head referee for the Reds' game versus the Bees, accompanied by assistants Scott Ledger and Mark Scholes, plus fourth official Tim Robinson.READ MORE: Tottenham vs Chelsea VAR chaos and how Liverpool supporters responded to every incident It was a meeting packed with controversy. First Oliver Skipp avoided punishment for a challenge on Luis Diaz that bears a striking resemblance to the one that got Curtis Jones sent off against the same opponent five months down the line. Spurs also had a reason to feel aggrieved that day, though, as Jota was also not reprimanded for a high boot on Skipp.
