Musician Paul Young has tied the knot with his girlfriend Lorna six years after the tragic death of his former wife Stacey Smith who passed away after a two year battle with cancer
Paul Young has tied the knot with his girlfriend Lorna in an intimate ceremony at Marylebone Registry office, six years after his wife Stacey Smith passed away from brain cancer.
Paul looked dapper in a navy blue suit, whilst Lorna stunned in an elegant white lace gown with pearl detail. Afterwards, he posted a lovely tribute to his new wife on his Instagram account, writing: "Meet the new Mrs Young! Today I married the most wonderful girl.. thank you Lorna, this is one of the happiest days of my life".
The Love of the Common People star’s big day comes six years after Stacey’s death, in 2018 following a two year battle with brain cancer. The couple called it quits in 2006, however, reconciled three years later, in 2009. During their split, Stacey welcomed her fourth child Jude. As she and Paul decided to give things another go, he became step dad to Stacey’s child.
