TV chef Paula McIntyre embarks on a culinary journey across the United States, exploring the influence of Ulster-Scots cuisine on American food culture in her new BBC One NI series.
TV chef Paula McIntyre has said her newest series of Hamely Kitchen filmed in the US was the 'trip of a lifetime'.
On how the US series came to be, Paula said: "I think it's one of those things that would have been a wee bit of a dream. "I think that what it's about - it's about stories and I like to think that's what we've done with the programme is the series. It's just a series of meeting people and them telling their story and sharing what they do," she explained.
Paula added that while visiting Tennesse was a "completely different experience" she loved getting to chat with a whole new group of people who were also very "warm and hospitable".
