PC Andrew Harper was trying to raise £500 for a children's cancer charity before he was killed on Thursday night
A fundraising page set up by a policeman who was "murdered" in the line of duty has seen a surge in donations in the last 24 hours.The 28-year-old newlywed had been hoping to run a 20-mile obstacle course in aid of a children's charity next year and set himself a £500 target.
