MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard on Wednesday continued its cleanup efforts in Oriental Mindoro following the oil spill in the waters of the said province.
The PCG installed an oil spill boom as well as conducted containment and recovery operations within the vicinity waters of Naujan town, the area believed to be the location of the vessel.Residents and volunteers also continued the cleanup in Barangay Tinogboc in Antique’s Caluya municipality, where “a dead squid” was found.
