Eighty-two students of the Philippine National Police – Special Action Force (PNP) have undergone rigid training on sea vessel assault from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) which culminated on Tuesday, June 21, in Manila.

Eighty-two students of the Philippine National Police – Special Action Force have undergone rigid training on sea vessel assault from the Philippine Coast Guard which culminated on Tuesday, June 21, in Manila.The PCG said that it collaborated with the PNP to train the SAF students who are undergoing specialization in Urban Counter-Revolutionary Warfare Course Class 103-2022 and help them become elite cops.

The SAF students were able to get a first hand training on sea vessel assault onboard the newly commissioned PCG multi-role response vessel, BRP Teresa Magbanua .During the training, the SAF students performed a series of drills on ship assault scenarios to simulate boarding and securing of vessel bridge and engine room.

The PNP-SAF is the most elite unit of the PNP and they are often deployed in various areas around the country to perform internal security and counterterrorism operations.
