Peaky Blinders star Sam Claflin has been spotted filming scenes in the city centre for an upcoming drama for Amazon Prime.
Sam will be known to audiences for playing Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games film series between 2013 and 2015, as well as taking on the role of Sir Oswald Mosley in BBC’s Peaky Blinders.Filming for Lazarus, which follows Sam’s forensic pathologist who investigates cold case murders following the death of his father played by Bill Nighy, has been taking place across Greater Manchester this week.
Last month, the actor was also seen filming outside Gordon Ramsay's Manchester restaurant Lucky Cat on King Street. He was pictured wearing the same brown double-breasted coat during both shoots. Heather Curtis, current series executive for Pan-English scripted SVOD TV at Amazon MGM Studios, said of the show: “Lazarus is a gripping series that captures your attention from the very beginning.
