The 36-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene

The busy road was closed for around 10 hours following the collision, reports Aberdeen Live.Officers were called out to attend the scene, which forms part of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route .Top news stories today A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 1.20am on Thursday, March 30, officers were called to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on the A956 Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route between the Charleston and Cleanhill junctions.

“The male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed for around 10 hours to allow investigations to be carried out. Enquiries are ongoing.”READ NEXT:
