The person was taken to hospital and it is unclear how serious their injuries are as cops launched a probe into the incident.
A person has been rushed to hospital in Edinburgh after being hit by a bus in the city centre. Around 2.30pm on Friday August 23, emergency services raced to Queensferry Street after reports of a collision.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service told Edinburgh Live: "We received a call at 2.33 pm to attend a road traffic collision on Queensferry Street, Edinburgh. We dispatched two ambulances to the scene and one patient was transported to Royal Edinburgh Infirmary." Stagecoach East Scotland said: "Due to an Incident in Edinburgh Services will divert Via Princes Street, Frederick Street, Charlotte Street and Ryans Bar outbound."
